Sunday, August 9th, 2009I was setting up a new machine today and went and grabbed the Java JRE. During the install I saw a few interesting screens.
First was the option to install the Bing toolbar which caught me a little off guard as I was unaware of a partnership between Microsoft and Sun/Oracle.

Oh No! Microsoft announces Silverlight for iPhone
Wednesday, April 1st, 2009Those of you who follow my blog know how much I was pushing to see the Adobe Flash Player on the iPhone. Well, that wish seems to have taken a bad turn as Apple and Microsoft have announced a partnership to get the Silverlight runtime on the iPhone.

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008Not sure if this is new information to anyone but I stumbled across this little gem when I did a Google search for “get flash player” today.
I was surprised to see that the 2nd link was a Microsoft URL (go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=6457) which nicely redirects to the Adobe Flash Player download page.
