I mentioned last week that I would be a contributing author on the new AIR Cookbook from O’Reilly. Now here is your chance to get your recipe’s published in the book or simply share your knowledge with the world.
Chuck Freedman (Chuckstar) has started a new Flex/AIR training company in Silicon Valley named “for those about to code”. For those about to code will be holding the first training weekend July 19-20, 2008 at The Domain Hotel, Sunnyvale, CA. This intense 2 day training class will target the Beginner/Intermediate developer looking to rapidly increase there knowledge level of Flex and AIR.
I have officially accepted an invitation from O’Reilly to join the team of authors working on the new AIR cookbook. My fellow authors include David Tucker, Marco Casario, and Koen De Weggheleire.
What does this mean to you?
Well as with the Flex Cookbook, the AIR Cookbook will include community contributions so you can have some of your recipes published. More details on how to get your recipes considered for the AIR Cookbook will be released soon, so stay tuned.
