Apollo Applications
-

Apollo Weather Widget - The Apollo Weather Widget is a nice little example of an application that will occassionally connect to the web for updates. It uses the Yahoo Weather API as well as Distortion Effects. (Author : Rich Tretola)
-

FileStreaming - Local access to the file system is what separates Apollo from Flex/Flash. This simple sample demonstrates how to read and write files to the local file system. (Author : Rich Tretola)
-

FotoBooth - Based on the Mac OSX application PhotoBooth, this application allows users to snap pictures with their web cam using a number of different filters. Once the image is snapped, it is written to the local file system where it can be opened or deleted through controls within the application. (Author : Rich Tretola)

GrabIt- The GrabIt application used the HTML control as a browser window. It then allows the user to take a screen shot of the web page being displayed and manage those screen shots using Apollo’s file system access. It also allows the user to view the source of the html and save that to the file system as well. (Author : Rich Tretola) -

Online/Offline - Here is a nice little example of testing for online and offline within Apollo. (Author : Rich Tretola)
-

Transparent Balls - Balls was created to show the power of transparent windows within Apollo. Granted it is not the prettiest application I have ever built but it gets the point across, that not only can you have transparent windows but shapes as well. (Author : Rich Tretola)
-

Windowing - The Windowing sample will demonstrate this by allowing you to set the preferences
of the new window by setting NativeWindow and NativeWindowInitOptions properties,
and then manage the windows by tracking them within a custom Array. (Author : Rich Tretola)
