Developing iOS Applications with Flex 4.5

Ready to put your ActionScript 3 skills to work on iPhone and iPad apps? This hands-on book walks you through the process of creating an Adobe AIR application for iOS devices from start to finish, using the Flex 4.5

Doesn’t it cover working with external data? For example, webservices, json, xml and so on? Or will it be left for a more advanced release?

    Rich Tretola Reply:

No, this is not covered as it is not specific to mobile development. This book is meant to be a short book (100 pages was O’Reilly target) and target only what is specific to Flex mobile. Working with external data within a mobile project is no different than a standard Flex project.
