Back in March I had a blog post titled AIR 2.0, what do you want? This post had over 100 comments from passionate AIR developers like myself with their suggestions. Well AIR 2.0 beta is finally here for public consumption and I am seeing many of our requests!

Hi there,
Any reason why Screen reader support is only available for Windows? Any time scale for Mac and Linux?
I thought Adobe finally left behind the days of “Windows only” when they promised to release FP versions at the same time.

It is a beta product. There will certainly be cross platform support when the product is released as AIR 2.0.

No Mac ppc support. I will be gettiing a new computer, but in this economy for people who have decent working ppc macs, air will loose those users.
