Just a quick note to say that I have uploaded new builds to Fotobooth, ImageDropr, and URLTestr this morning to address the application expiration dates. If you have any of these applications installed, they should automatically prompt you for the updates. If not, you can download them here: http://www.happytoad.com/?page_id=72

Hey,
Just downloaded and tried fotobooth. It seems that if you have a tv tuner installed, then fotobooth will grab that as an input, but not the webcam. It would be nice to have an option to choose the input.

Really, this is interesting, what happens if you try the web based version? This version should allow you to right click and select your video feed. Here is the URL:

Hi Rich,
That works well. Do you think that you’ll add the ability to choose the input on the Air version?
Thanks,
James

What do you mean by “choose the input on the Air version?”

Hey Rich,
I guess I was meaning the ability to “select a video feed” so that the webcam could be selected and viewed. But then I went back and ran the AIR version and it will now work with the webcam. Does the FLEX based version save some settings somewhere?
Thanks,
James

Hello there, thanks for the software a lot. There is no similar software for Windows (surprisingly), and this tool comes in very handy.
I am wondering, besides the normal option of uploading to Flickr, where are the photos actually saved on the hard drive? I installed it on Windows 7 and I could not find them. In Vista, it seems to save at %MyPictures%\fotobooth.
Thanks again! Keep up the good work!

They are stored in your user directory /Pictures/fotobooth/.
