I tested out a few of our Flex based sites with Google Chrome and results were pretty positive. One thing I noticed was that the IHistoryManager (which we used instead of deep linking pre Flex3) caused some error messages to pop up… but the site still functioned.
Aside from that I was pretty happy with how well Flex just worked with Google Chrome. So I agree… “Enough said!”

So does that mean that Silverlight doesn’t work on Safari either? Shouldn’t the plugin be the same if they are both based on WebKit?

It does work in Safari, I would assume it is simply a problem with Microsoft’s browser compatibility checker as it should also work with Chrome.

i’m willing to try it out just to see if it works more efficiently than FireFox… if it’s faster than Firefox and isn’t IE, then i’ll use it

So far, I really like it. It certainly seems very fast, and stable. However, it would be nice to have tools like Firebug et al running on it.

Yeah, it makes a difference, though it shouldn’t be long before we’re all beavering away with Google alternatives. Seems Google is really making a mark on the development world, especially with a lot of support from Adobe.

To be quite honest, I don’t really like it too much.
Seems far slower than Firefox to me, and can’t live without all my http debuggers and other crucial plug-in’s that make Firefox such a wonderful experience!

I’ve been using it all day, now, and I love it. It’s super fast, hasn’t crashed once (unlike FF) and is really clean. Lets hope plugin support gets here soon!

Google Chrome is very fast, but with firefox i can have a lot of extensions… so… i keep my Fierfox.

I also use many firefox extensions but I have decided to use Google Chrome for a normal day work and just when I need one of those extensions I open FF. This is because GC is very very fast and also the pages and web applications load faster than in other browsers.
I haven’t had a problem or issue with Google Chrome and one of the features I love is the google chrome task manager.
