Not sure if this is new information to anyone but I stumbled across this little gem when I did a Google search for “get flash player” today.
I was surprised to see that the 2nd link was a Microsoft URL (go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=6457) which nicely redirects to the Adobe Flash Player download page.

Now that’s interesting. I wonder what they’re up to.

That is interesting. I was at a Microsoft event a few months ago and they were pushing silverlight hard however they didnt show anything new at all. It was the same junk that they presented about a year prior. I was bored so I was checking out the software they gave to all of the attendees and was surprised to see that the autorun file on one of the discs was a swf! The funny thing is there was not a sign of silverlight whatsoever on any of the media they gave us.
