Win free AIR Books

If you have been a regular visitor to my blog, you will notice that it changed a bit in the last few days. Hopefully the layout is a little cleaner.

Anyway, if you didn’t notice, I am not a designer. So I would like to offer a free copy of Beginning AIR and a free copy of the new AIR Cookbook (when available later this year) to whomever can come up with a new logo for EverythingFlex. The logo should represent the nature of the site which is dedicated to Adobe Flex and Adobe AIR but it can not include any of their copyrighted logos.

Here is what the old logo looked like:

    Keep the old logo! It stuck with me the first time I saw it and expresses everything it should, IMO. Just make the background on top a much brighter red or some other friendly color (the current one is really old-fashioned).

    If you like the old one and can just tweak it a bit to the new color scheme, I say go for it and you can win some books.

    Congrats to Matt Chmiel as I chose his design as the new logo (http://i523.photobucket.com/albums/w358/mattchmiel/ef1.jpg) for EverythingFlex.com. It is already installed in the header above.

    Although this was certainly not a radical change from my old logo, I really like the clean look that is has.
