A Great Way to Monetize your Blog
I can’t remember who turned me on to Text-Link-Ads but I have to say that I am very impressed with this company. My revenue from them has been steadily increasing over the 6 months or so that I have been using them for text based ads on this site. With Text-Link-Ads I make 10 times the revenue that I used to with Google Ads. They do a great job selling text links and pay right on time on the first of each month.
If you have a website, I highly recommend giving them a shot. The worst that could happen is that nothing happens so there is really no risk.

I found the same thing to be true as well, that text link ads blew google ads AWAY when it comes to actually creating a little revenue for you. You may have heard about it the same way I did, from a discussion that was going on in one of the mailing lists (cf bloggers, perhaps?). But as soon as I heard about it, I signed up and implemented their code. To help others get started, I went ahead and blogged on it at the time, giving all of the steps, links, and code examples needed. In the comments of that post are some other useful tips and code helps as well.

I’ve always been a little hesitant about using something like Google Ads since it did not feel like I had enough control over what was being advertised and the over-excessive use of google ads online has created a lot of bitterness and ad blindness towards sites that use it. I think I’ll give TLA a try since it seems more personal and relevant.

Uhh… Where are these ads you speak of? I looked all over your site, and the only thing I found which could be the ads you refer to is the ‘SUPPORT’ box in the right hand column.
That’s not a very prominant ad, so if that works then I would be very impressed.

They are keyword ads. Look for some hyperlinks within blog posts that link to outside sites. Some of them are my actual content and others are inserted ads.
