AlertWindow and AlertMXWindow Updated

By Rich Tretola | December 19, 2007

These two components have been updated to have notification when used in static mode. In other words, the default behavior is to rise from the system tray area, remain for 3 seconds (or a user defined amount) and fall back off screen. You also have the option to have the window rise from the tray area and sit statically. When using this mode, you have the new feature of having the window bounce until the user interacts with it.

For more information and a sample application please visit AlertWindow for the flash/html version and AlertMXWindow for the Flex version. The SWC file is available here. Finally a sample application is available here.

hmm, being a Mac guy I didn’t think if this. How do normal toast windows (ike Outlook or something) appear? Do they show up higher on your screen?
