Pure CSS Flex Backgrounds
July 9th, 2007Just trying to catch up, I came across this very cool post from the other day by Jens Krause of WS-Blog. He wrote a WSBackgroundPixelSkin class which reads patterns from an external CSS sheet as BitmapData and loads it into the background of Flex container components. It is very slick. He has also promised to release the tool that he wrote that simplifies the creation of the CSS patterns. Full source code and an example are included here
