I am not sure what you mean?  You can write any file type from AIR to disk.  Here is the newest version of FotoBooth:

		<description>I am not sure as it works fine on my Mac book.  As you running it under OSX or in a Mac Windows shell?  I know when I try it on Windows Vista within my Mac via boot camp it doesn't work.</description>
