FotoBooth Apollo Edition

I first created FotoBooth back in November as a Flex application that used a server for file storage and retrieval. The conversion to Apollo not only allowed for local storage of the image files but also allowed me to create tools to view (using windowing) and manage the image files.
Also added to this version is the animation of the new images being taken as well as the countdown clock and sound effects.
This application is a more mature version. It requires a webcam, preferably at least 480 x 360 in resolution. Anyone with a MacBook is good to go.

The photos are all stored on your system. The path differs if you are on a Mac or Windows.
Mac would be:
user\Library\Preferences\FotoBooth\Local Store\Images
Windows would be:
Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\FotoBooth\Local Store\Images

Nice, but how do you export them from BitmapData ?
Is this an Apollo built feature or one of your self-made class ?

Take a look at the JPGEncoder and PNGEncoder classes within the corelib:

Hey, I downloaded your app, and opened it using a 17″ MacBook Pro, and it doesn’t turn on the iSight, so there are no pictures. What can I do to fix this?

I am not sure as it works fine on my Mac book. As you running it under OSX or in a Mac Windows shell? I know when I try it on Windows Vista within my Mac via boot camp it doesn’t work.

Callisto,
I am not sure what you mean? You can write any file type from AIR to disk. Here is the newest version of FotoBooth:
