Macromedia has officially opened the lab and Flex 2 is availble for public alpha. I have been testing some of the new features and am impressed. Here is the link: http://labs.macromedia.com/.
You can now download the Framework, Eclipse plugin, Flex Builder 2 (built on eclipse) and Flash Player 8.5.
I will post some comments and samples as soon as possible.
Please post your comments.

The new flex plugin for ecliplse called Flex Builder 2 will include a licence to deploy applications. This is great news to small development houses as the price will be somewhere under $1000. Don’t get too excited however as I am pretty sure this will be an entry level licence and will not get you a complete Flex server with all options enabled. However, it is a great step to get more Flex applications deployed. you can read more about this here.
